IOM 1st March Race 1

Please find the attached results for your appropriate perusal.

At least one account came in of squalls across the lake making for

some exciting sailing this morning. Boat with sail number #06

spent the first two of the nine races on the bank with a singular

winch snag. In race eight two boats were forced to retire with

temporary wind damage.


The course:- Start W/OR - 2 X (6 - 7 - OR - W) - Fin' 4/O.


Five worthy competitors and their IOM yachts endured the elements for nine races, three of whom get a mention in dispatches for leading

the fleet on points:-

              

1st Place - #63 RD; 2nd - #85 TR; 3rd - #59 IW.
