A small and select gathering of three skippers gathered at the lake in conditions that could best be described as flat and calm. Being an optimistic bunch the necessary preparations were made and a meagre ration of wind appeared by 10 o'clock, eventually allowing seven races to be sailed. Wind direction was as variable as could be, and resulted in two course changes during the course of the regatta.
