IOM 23rd December Race 7

After MC fished out a timber yultide log floating in the lake, seven skippers sailed nine races over course 'A': a triangle with 4/Yellow start - (7 - OB - 1) x 2 - Fin' 4/Y. There was plenty of breeze with patches of uncertain frequency occurring amidst the seasonal, prevailing gusts. The long legs downwind spelt opportunities to catch up or likewise, to get ahead.

Humble vittles were offered around in the break by club members, and spirits remained high throughout the racing, in spite of a couple of heavenly downpours.

This week's virtual Triple Ripple go to:- 1st Place - RD #15, 2nd - MC #169, 3rd - CW #06.

There is everything to play for, with one more IOM event in the current series.
