IOM 23rd May Race 4

Eight boats, eight races; dry, sunny and breezes mostly from the South by West. The game - as always - seemed to be to make the most of the wind as it became available.

Tolerance, trimming, tactics and trying your luck all contributed to at least one competitor having a thoroughly enjoyable and trying morning: making the 11 o'clock break all the more welcome when it came round. Line honours: 3 to #85, 2 to #06, 2 t0 #28 with BRS' #44 taking a spare in the sixth race.

Course:- Start 3/ OR - (7-y-3) x 2 - Fin' 6/OBr. (Orange/ Red/ Brown).

Top 3 of the morning:- 1stPlace-#85 TRS(10); 2nd - #28 IW(13); 3rd - #06 CW(14)
