IOM 26th August'22.

The Series Podium Honours go to: 1st Place - John Bennett sailing #80,

2nd Place - Maurice Clayton crewing #169

3rd Place - Robert Hobbs helming # 03.

"Well, we started with six sailors and after one race we lost one sailor who rushed off to the beach instead. The wind was light, often from the south and also often from the north. The course soon ended up as OB-0,4,8,1,4,8,1,5-8 which was basically two triangles followed by a straight beat reach or run up to the finish line during which it was possible for everyone to suddenly catch up with everybody else and overtake and undertake to the amusement of some and the gall of others. Despite the iffy conditions there was some very close racing with a strong degree of guessing where the lucky winds were. With six races in total we get 1 discard and the following result: 1st John Bennett 9, 2nd Robert Hobbs 9, 3rd Maurice Clayton 13, 4th Simon Bell 17, 5th Tony Robertshaw 19, 6th Chris Wilson 34." - JB
