IOM 29th July Race 5

An E.S.E'ly breeze gradually veered South, light but sailable for eight races including a wee bit of extra time. Fleets were tight in spite of the variable conditions, which could make penalty turns cost a few places, not to mention a boat getting hooked on a mooring line, which was resolved by RD's timely rescue at mark #7, thereby enabling a full complement both to complete race #7 as well as for the final race of the morning. After two races we sailed course 'B' : Start 5/8 - OB - White - 4 - 6- 7- OW - 4 - 8 - 5 - 6 -7 - 3/OW Fin'.

Some virtual flexible friendly ripples to the top three :-

1st Place - #80 JB, 2nd - #169 MC, 3rd - SB #73.
