IOM results 16.7.21

Updated: Aug 13, 2021

Hello Sailors!

Today's weather was just about as forecast as we raced in some of the best conditions I have seen for quite a while at Lakeside.

Occasionally there was even some diving as we approached the top end of A rig conditions in some gusts.

Although only 6 of us raced today, the competition was close over the 10 heats we sailed using most of the lake on a long triangular course.

There were 4 separate heat winners with Rob and JB taking four each and Michael and Maurice one apiece.

There were a couple of other collisions during the day and generally penalties were taken correctly.

Well done Rob, today's overall winner while JB leads the series so far by quite a comfortable margin.

point to remember. The boat always sails better if you remove the foam protector from the bulb before launching. Doh!
