IOM results 9th July

Just 6 sailors today in a light & very shifty wind from almost anywhere and quite a lot of weed.

We managed 6 heats over a long course giving just one discard.

One of those days where you turn up full of enthusiasm only to be frustrated when finding yourself leading for nearly all the race to become becalmed and overtaken by the fleet. Even worse when you're at the back of the fleet you just don't get the breeze and they all sail away from you. As one Olympic sailor once said "You haven't won the race, if in winning you have lost the respect of your competitors!" Results below and on the sail blog. Just look at how close the total points were scored for the last 4 places.
