Eight competitors made ready their one metre radio controlled yachts, in time for the first race at 10 o'clock, after which #80's skipper temporarily left the helming arena by prior arrangement, returning in time for Race 5. Dave's Ericca, #63 was out sailing for her first session this year, helmsman and boat taking a break after the 6th race. Stronger breezes meant loads of tacking and gybing on the water included in long windward stretches up from buoy #7 and downwind legs from buoy 3 to 6. Buoy 'WZ' or 'Zero' was in a world
