Six Skippers sailed their One Metre class yachts today for this, the seventh event

of the current series. As the heat of the day increase, so through the morning did

a steady breeze: keeping the crew cool, and the racing close.

The course: #1 - Black and orange(OB) Start, #8 to Starboard, 5 to port, #6 port,

#7 port, #8 Stbd, 'OB' port, Zero port, #8 stbd, #6 port, #7 port, #8 Stbd, 'OB' port,

#1 port, Finish #5 - #8.

Each competitor took at least one turn in overseeing the start, making it a little tricky to

both get a good position and to see that the fleet are behind the start-transit-line until the

countdown has ended.

Today's tidy trio are: 1st Place - JB #80, 2nd - RH #03, and 3rd - SB #73
