Racing Results 11-Feb'26

Andy Smith was warmly welcomed by 10 skippers for his first sail at Lakeside and was able to experience some wind which was variable both in strength and direction. The course was set as R/2, M, P, Y, M, P, Y, M/P and lulls round both M and Y coupled with some fast beating to M and running to Y, made for some interesting sailing.

Those who managed to read the wind changes the best today were:

1st - I White (13)

2nd - R Brydges (14)

3rd - C Wilson (17)

Well done to them and to all for avoiding bringing cars to the lake bank during this spell of wet weather.

Best wishes,

Bruce
