DF65 Racing Results 24-Sep'25

Updated: Oct 1, 2025

8 sailors competed in the 4th round of the Sep-Oct series. John Allen arrived, but his boat suffered a rudder servo failure and he was not able to compete. Chris set a triangular course of P/O, Y, 5, M, Y, 5, M, R/3, but as the wind was rather light at the northern end of the lake it wa changed to P/O, X, 5, 7, X, 5, 7, R/8 after 1 race and 8 heats were raced.

There was enough breeze to make for some exciting sailing, but the lulls and gusts which occurred often whilst rounding the buoys enabled places to be gained and lost.

Those who managed the conditions best today were:

1st - C Wilson (12)

2nd - J Bennett (12)

3rd - I White (15)

Well done to everyone for an enjoyable morning's sail.

Best wishes,

Bruce
