generally keeping all skippers on their toes. Some close racing was had with many changes of position throughout.

Those on the podium today are 1st - J Bennett (002), 2nd - R Brydges (33), 3rd - C Wilson (06). Congratulations to them.

Best wishes,

Bruce

Six one metre sailors turned out today. Course 'B' was favoured for its wind content, over 7/ 9 races. First places were there for the taking, unless you happened to be helming #16.

#'s 80 and 06 took three 'I's apiece, ensuring their top marks of the day.

'Submerged' white and inshore yellow was a start, with five and eight for finish line - #8, Y and #1 to get round twice beforehand. Races were close, ne'er an acrimonial to be heard!

Squalls all round for the top three:- 1st Place - JB#80, 2nd - CW#6, 3rd - MT#96.

11 skippers arrived to find the forecast S 12-26kn was actually NE 1-2kn. Luckily it filled in and veered to the South as the morning wore on enabling 9 heats of a triangle then quadrilateral course (W/Y, 8, OB, Y, W, 4/O). The first couple of races had one lap, the rest two.

Some close racing and tense finishes where places were won and lost in the last few yards. Those faring best were:

1st - J Richardson (43), 2nd - R Dyer (25), 3rd - I White (28) Congratulations to them.

In the last heat 142 put 84 out of the race when performing a turn having not got clear first - many apologies.

Best wishes,

Bruce
