DF65 Racing Results 12-Mar'25

A chilly day welcomed 8 sailors to Lakeside with a promise of a light but strengthening wind from the north. Chris set a course of 6/A, R, B, P, 7, R, B, P, 7, B/R and we were just about to start the first race when Ian arrived, launched his boat and won it! The wind proved to be rather variable making rounding "B" interesting and even "P" managed to attract boats rather unnecessarily, but 8 heats were raced providing 2 discards each.


It was on the whole a good morning's sailing and the podium was populated by:


1st - J Richardson (12)

2nd - C Wilson (13)

3rd - I White (16)
