DF65 Racing Results 24-Jan'24

Updated: Jan 29, 2024

14 skippers arrived at Lakeside expecting a moderate to fresh breeze, but the gusts rarely got over 10kn. Chris set a course of 0/A, 8, R, A, 8, R, A, 2/B, but after 2 races the start line was extended to be 3/A and 0 was substituted for A on the laps. Despite some long lulls and multiple changes in wind direction, there was some close and exciting racing with places being gained and lost on all legs.

Those who fared best today were:

1st - R Dyer (25)

2nd - C Wilson (06)

3rd - J Bennett (002)

Congratulations to them and also to Andy Dore, who won heat 7 on only his second outing at Lakeside.

Best wishes,

Bruce
