DF65 Racing Results 28-Aug'24

7 sailors attended the last round in the Jul-Aug series accompanied by sun and a gentle S (most of the time) breeze. Before racing started Dale's boat decided to investigate the trees on the west shore and without Chris' dinghy, required its helm to swim to its rescue. Following that 7 heats were raced on the course B/A, 7, A, B, 7, A, 8/P. Chris had intermittent winch problems and Phil's transmitter batteries failed requiring replacements at the break.

1st - M Harcourt (11)

2nd - B Ryde-Weller (13)

3rd - J Smith (17)


The series podium is:


1st - J Richardson (9)

2nd - C Wilson (22)

3rd - M Harcourt (38)


Congratulations to them and to all 19 sailors who took part in the series and contributed to the enjoyment had by all.
