DF65 Racing results 3-May'23

12 skippers competed in the first round of the May-June Series and were greeted with a warm sunny morning with a mainly Easterly 7-10kn breeze.


The course was set as 4/R, 0, 1, 3, R, 0, 1, 3, R/8 but was soon changed to start 4/8 to give a slightly better beat on the first leg.


11 heats were raced with some close sailing and those who took advantage of the wind shifts best were:


1st - J Bennett (002)

2nd - C Salter (362)

3rd - R Dyer (25)
