DF65 Racing Results 9-Apr'25

I am currently confined in a boat off Inverie and am indebted to Roger for the scoresheet, commentary and course details.

A breezy but, at first, chilly morning greeted eleven sailors for a spirited set of nine races. The wind direction was between N and E and everything in between. Chris set an excellent start line with an orange and black laid mark acting as the windward mark just off the jetty. Then it was round the big orange buoy before heading back to the outer distance mark and another lap with the finishing beat taking the fleet to a finish line between the windward mark and 3. The ODM was replaced by 7 as a mark of the course after the first race. The beat from 7 to the windward mark presented plenty of challenges and the opportunity to throw away places at will. Altogether a very satisfactory morning in the fresh air.

Best wishes,

Bruce
