DF65 results 17-May'23

I am indebted to Julyan for the scores and commentary for what sounds like a very enjoyable morning.

14 skippers competed for the 3rd round of the May-June series in light Northerly winds. Course "A" was adapted according to the changing conditions and a single lap for light airs of 6/pier,3,4,7,Y,8,4,7,Y,4/8 and 6/pier,(3,5,7,Y)x2,4/8 for when there was a breeze proper.

Race observers kept all in order and the long start line normally showed and even bias, depending on the wind at the time of the start. Both windward legs to 3 and 4 gave plenty of opportunity for gains or losses.

Course diagram to follow when I get back from hols!

Top 3 today are:

1st - J Bennett (002)

2nd - J Richardson (43)

3rd - C Wilson (06)

Congratulations to them.

Best wishes,

Bruce
