DF65 Results 22 June'22

Round 8 of the May-June series was raced in unbroken sunshine and what was a pleasant, if somewhat fluky mainly NE breeze.

Buoy 8 had been moved north just past the jetty, so another buoy OW was placed just north of where it used to be. JB, with help from others, set a course of OW/5,0,5,OR,0,5,OR,4/8. After 3 races 5 was substituted for 7 and after race 5 0 on the second lap was substituted by 8.

9 sailors competed in 8 races many of whom shared weed removing duties allowing others to finish earlier!

The top three today are J Bennett (002), I White (28) and J Richardson (43). Well done to them.

Best wishes,

Bruce
