DF95 - Sunday 25th April 2021

Eight sailors today turned up in beautiful sunshine and an increasing NE wind to race on a large rectangular course as follows: O-5, OB, 1, 6, 7, OB, 1, 6, 7, W-2. There was a bias on the start line that meant jostling for a good start and there were a few incidents but there was some excellent racing in conditions with our “A” rigs ranging from struggling for wind to the windward mark to diving on the run. With 9 heats in the bag we get 2 discards.

1st John Bennett 10, 2nd John Tufnall 17, 3rd Chris Wilson 18, 4th Maurice Clayton 28, 5th Phil Udal 32, 6th David Redfern 40, 7th Ian Davis 42, 8th John Arrow 43.
