IOM 17th November'23 Race 3

Today five went sailing at Lakeside. While waiting for a breeze to come in, the boatswain managed to wipe down all the club's race marks, rowing to each one in turn.

By 12:30 p.m. we had completed two races, one short, then one longer since a NW wind was on course to power the fleet. Racing was close throughout the morning.

Today's course:- Start W/1 - 4 - OB - W - 1 - 8 - OB - W - Fin' 8/OB.

Top trio on points:- 1st Place - #6 CW; 2nd - #16 JR; 3rd - #71 TR.

Without reservation, may we continue to sail and race in honour of the memory of (a) dear, departed colleague(s) whose stalwart, supportive activity within the club was and continues to be exemplary in every way.

Good Sailing
