IOM 6th May '22

The weather forecast for today looked reasonable, but the reasonable wind didn't ever turn up and we had very variable and largely drifting conditions throughout the morning. Michael with his new boat "Erica" was doing well before we started racing, then the rudder servo packed up and he kindly offered to do "Observer" duties for the rest of the morning, thank you Michael. For the first half we managed starts in a northerly direction, but when we started having running starts the course was basically reversed and we started in a southerly direction instead. We did manage to achieve 7 races, and with the 1 discard the PROVISIONAL results are:

Close racing, note 3 sailors all on 21 points, who are separated by the number of 1st places they had.
