IOM November 4th_Race 1

Six one metre sailors turned out on this sunny occasion. By the time JB joined the fleet for Race 4 and beyond, a revised course 'C' had been determined, featuring:

OR/'zero' Start - 4 -7 -OB(wing) - OR(off jetty) - 3 -7 - OB - OR -3 - 7 - OB - Finish 5/8.

The breeze strengthened so close racing was to be had by all upwind and down. A few, if not all competitors may have enjoyed leading the chase right up to the last leg or so, which at least (this) one skipper found encouraging, taking into account the variety of yacht designs

and builds on the water.

So this virtual 'one-catspaw-clapping' may go to..............

1st Place - #25 RD helm, 2nd - #6 CW on the tiller, 3rd - #85 TR steering.
