IOM September 23rd Race 4

Overdressed for the weather outlook, six stalwart skippers turned out for what was to be a dry morning and competitive racing. A more-or-less Northerly breeze held out admirably for all nine races, across a sort of double triangular course 'B':

Start 6/OR-3-6-7-OB-4-6-7-OB-4/Y Finish.

Tactical windward beats and timely wind shifts favoured the fortunate right to the last race, when #96 experienced a winch failure before the start, which resulted in a handy discard.

This week's podium-three are: in 1st Place - JB #80,

2nd - MT, with #96,

3rd - CW, helm of #06
