Racing Results 18-Sep'24

6 sailors gathered at Lakeside at the start of the 3rd round of the Sep-Oct series and held one heat with a course of 8/P, R, 4, 8, R, 4, 8, 1/R. John Smith then arrived after having been held up on the motorway, the course was lengthened to 8/P, R, 4, 7, R, 4, P, 1/R and another 8 heats were raced. The beats provided many opportunities to try out different strategies and places could be easily lost and not so easily gained. However, there was much close racing and many close finishes.

Those on the podium today were:

1st - J Richardson (10)

2nd - C Wilson (19)

3rd - R Brydges (20)

Well done to them and to all for an enjoyable morning soaking up the late summer sunshine.

Best wishes,

Bruce
