Racing Results 8-Jan'25

With last week's racing cancelled owing to rain and strong winds, it was hoped for good weather today, but...


7 hardy souls attended a cold Lakeside only to find that the wind was still away on holiday. After some congenial chat and the odd cup of coffee, Chris set a short course of 8/A, 0, 8/A, but even that was challenging with the current pushing the fleet southwards causing some boats to hit the windward buoy when they were sure they would clear it. The wind slowly rose and after the break another lap was added making the course 8/A, 0, 8, A, 0, 8/A and in all 8 heats were raced.


The top three today were:


1st - R Brydges (11)

2nd - C Wilson (11)

3rd - J Bennett (15)
