Racing Results 22-Jul'26

6 sailors arrived at Lakeside to compete in the 4th round of the Jul-Aug series. The weather was warm and the wind light, although somewhat variable in direction providing some interesting approaches to buoys. Chris initially set a course of R/3, P, R, M, P, R/3 which was extended by replacing P by Y laid between P and 7 and with the wind picking up a little, 11 heats were raced. Those on the podium today were: 1st - M Harcourt (16) 2nd - B Ryde-Weller (22) 3rd - I White (24)

Racing Results 15-Jul'26

My thanks to Roger for the details of the sailing. An omnishambles on the road network and accompanying gridlock restricted the fleet to five hardy souls. There was a spirited breeze from the N/NE that, after a little adjustment gave a reasonable beat from 8 to Big Orange.
