Eastleigh and District Model Boat Club

6 sailors arrived at Lakeside to compete in the 4th round of the Jul-Aug series. The weather was warm and the wind light, although somewhat variable in direction providing some interesting approaches to buoys. Chris initially set a course of R/3, P, R, M, P, R/3 which was extended by replacing P by Y laid between P and 7 and with the wind picking up a little, 11 heats were raced. My thanks to Roger for the details of the sailing. An omnishambles on the road network and accompanying gridlock restricted the fleet to five hardy souls. There was a spirited breeze from the N/NE that, after a little adjustment gave a reasonable beat from 8 to Big Orange.
